Manifesto
Signs, images, experiments, statements, opinions, artworks, practices, presentations, searches. People cast fleeting glances, unable to grasp anything in the endless anticipation of tomorrow.
But we are here. We exist in this place and time. We listen, we observe, and we offer others the chance to be seen. We invite them to join us.
We are the link that enables not only contemporary art but also its comprehension. «Also sprach Backstein». Artists and society must work, present, search, and strive. We do the same. But we also watch, analyze, and compare.
We help others see and liberate their vision. We believe contemporary art is not defined by the artist, the object, or the viewer alone—but by the moment their perspectives converge. That is our message. We reject dividing people into categories: professionals here, amateurs there, artists here, and the mythical «commoners» there.
There are no «commoners». We address everyone, inviting them to work and experiment with us. There are no «commoners» — we honor diverse opinions, welcome every voice, and gladly help others find their own words to start a conversation.
We speak. We listen. We understand. We weave threads of connection.
We are exhibitions. We curate them ourselves and invite colleagues to collaborate. This work has two goals: to help artists be seen and create a safe space for experimentation, and to serve as a driving force within the art world.
We are laboratories, collaborating with professionals from various fields. We host diverse educational events — lectures, artist talks, masterclasses, reading groups, and more — open to all.
We are conversations and dialogues between artists, curators, and — most importantly — viewers. There is no distance between the creators and the audience. We invite every guest to be part of the art: to see, to listen, to speak, and to be heard.
